Lecture Series
The Affordable Art Fair is proud to partner with the School of Visual Arts on our public programming series. SVA will host the following programs in The Altman Building, Lower Level:

    In Focus: Collecting Photography - A panel discussion moderated by Michael Foley, Owner of FOLEYgallery. THURSDAY @ 7pm FREE with general admission


    Top 10 Tips for Starting Your Art Collection - A panel discussion on how to begin your own art collection. SATURDAY @ 2pm FREE with general admission

Sculpture Demonstrations
Demonstrations, hosted by Modern Art Foundry/Spring Gallery, will be held on Saturday at the following times:

1pm - "Armatures and Molding". How to create a clay model on a wire armature.

3pm - "Molding from Life". The rubber-mold making process.

Printmaking Demonstrations
Demonstrations courtesy of the Lower East Side Printshop will be held in the Metropolitan Pavilion, at the following times:

Thu @ 5pm - Screenprint

Fri @ 5pm - Woodcut

Sat @ 2pm - Etching

Sun @ 2pm - Monotype

Installations

Children's Art Studio

Art teacher Claire Munday provides art education workshops for kids ages 3-12. Children will work on art projects using art history as a reference point. The Arts Studio will be provided Saturday from Noon to 5pm and Sunday from Noon to 5pm.
